Do I need a referral?
Most patients do. You need a referral from a physician or nurse practitioner. The one exception: athletes 17 and under with a sports injury in the past two weeks who need clearance to return to sport can self-refer directly.

How soon can I get an appointment?
We aim to contact you within 24 hours of receiving your referral and to book you in within 3-5 days of referral. we do not keep a wait list.

Is the visit covered by insurance?
Your MD visit is covered by OHIP. The rehab specialist assessment on the same day has a fee. WSIB, MVA, and extended health coverage can be direct billed, if eligible.

What should I expect at my appointment?
Your first visit has two parts: a physician assessment and a rehab specialist evaluation. Plan for about two hours. You will leave with a clear picture of where you stand and what happens next.

Do you provide letters for work or school?
Yes. We can provide accommodation letters for school and work as part of your care. Ask your care team during your appointment about the process.
